Founded in 1843, Macmillan Publishers is an international publishing company with over 10 imprints and operating in more than 70 countries.

By visually displaying Macmillan’s titles as if on a bookshelf, we were able to capture the familiar feeling of shopping in a bookstore.
We developed a branded set of hand-drawn illustrations to help customers easily identify Macmillan’s most popular genres and find other key moments across the site.
The product detail page design accounts for a diversity of reading experiences, allowing customers to shop by their preferred format, listen to excerpts, and watch related videos.

The Book Finder quiz reduces friction in the browsing process, giving users the ability to filter Macmillan’s expansive catalog by category.
